Stacey Tomczak, DPT

Stacey majored in biology at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and then attended Northwestern University Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences in Chicago, IL . She received her clinical education at Goshen Memorial Hospital in Goshen, IN, St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago, IL and with an outpatient facility in Chicago.
After graduation Stacey worked at Our Lady of the Resurrection Hospital in Chicago, IL. While working there she held a rotational position between acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient therapy where she treated a wide variety of patients at different levels of the rehabilitation process. She was in charge of the Balance and Vestibular program. Along with her day to day work she gave lectures to seniors on prevention of falls.
She finds her particular areas of interest are balance and vestibular disorders, post-surgical, athletic injuries, and the geriatric population.
Stacey has found her passion for outpatient service here at Optimal Health Institute. She feels Optimal Health Institute is a good fit for her because of the patient population, great relations with referring doctors which allows excellent patient care.
