Kevin Svoboda, PT
Licensed Physical TherapistDirector
Kevin majored in biology and psychology at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and then attended the Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University, North Chicago, IL. After receiving clinical education at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago and Columbus Hospital in Lincoln Park, he was granted his degree in Physical Therapy.
After directing clinics in southeastern Wisconsin for two years, Kevin was given the opportunity to provide patient care and clinic consulting services to clinics throughout the country including the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Louisiana, and Wisconsin.
Upon returning to the Midwest, Kevin worked as the Rehabilitation Director for an orthopedic surgical group in the northwest suburbs of Illinois. By working closely with this group, he received the education necessary to treat pre- and post-operative rehabilitation patients.
Kevin is actively involved with training future physical therapists through his university involvement. Kevin has also spoken locally and nationally (to patients and medical staff) on various topics related to health care.
Kevin's areas of clinical interest include athletic injuries, the injured worker, post-operative patients, chronic conditions, and treatment of the TMJ. In addition, he strongly believes that educating patients about their injury or impairment is essential to their recovery process.
