Karla Cortez-Duda, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Karla graduated from Western Illinois University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in in Biology and Psychology. In May 2007, she completed her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. She continues to further her medicine and science education, taking courses each year to stay up-to-date on the newest techniques and advances in physical therapy.
Karla has 3 years experience specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems of all kinds, post-surgical rehabilitation, work-related injuries and sports injuries. She uses a wide variety of treatment techniques--both manual "hands-on" techniques and specific exercises to treat the whole body. Through continued education, Karla has advanced her skills in treating vestibular disorders, as well as foot and ankle pathologies.
Karla's goals are to return you to your most optimal level of function in as short a time as possible, as well as to educate you in the reasons for your dysfunctions and how to maintain your mobility through individualized home exercise programs.
